Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Training

Learn essential sea kayaking skills through private or small-group instruction with Tim Burnham, a certified Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Level-1 Instructor who also holds Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Level-2 Skills certification.

Training can include:

• Efficient paddling strokes and boat control

• Edging, turning and manoeuvring

• Launching and landing

• Assisted and self-rescues

• Safety, equipment and trip preparation

• Personalized coaching based on your experience and goals

Choose from one-on-one instruction, a private course with friends, or a scheduled small-group Paddle Canada Level-1 Skills course.

Courses are offered in the Nanaimo area through West Coast Kayak Works.
